Sydney Fire Update FRNSW Station Map/List Map eatc7042 has compiled and kindly shared with the community a KML of Fire & Rescue NSW stations statewide. We've embedded his map into the SydneyFire site to provide an interactive, dynamic view of stations and related information. You can view the map here. List A new listing of Fire & Rescue NSW stations has also been developed by Andrew, It's a listing of Stations grouped by Area (Metro North/East/South/West) and you can read the list here. Appliance Information Moved The pages on FRNSW/RFS appliances has been moved under the information category of the main menu, this better represents the category that the page belongs into and it groups it with the other related content. You can view the appliance information here. Radio Codes Page Update The Radio Codes page has been merged with the Radio Priorities and AFA codes to provide a single page with all related radio terminology. AFA statuses have also been updated to reflect recent changes. You have a look at the updated page here.

Mike : sorry but scanner will remain off line untill sunday morning due to issues with the reprogramming
Mike : Hi All, the streams are currently down till tomorrow (sat) due to the scanner being replaced, should be back up within 24hours.

Andy : There has recently been yet another MOU signed between the DoD and FRNSW about that place, I havnt been bothered to read it yet but there is probably some new protocol in there, who knows
Andy : Christiaan, those days havnmt changed, probably the response times have. I know that facility very VERY well having worked for all 3 services that either go there or that were stationed in there.

Christiaan Z : ok but what happened to the days when 86, 102, regentville rfs, orchard hills rfs and mulgoa rfs got activated at the same time because of the type of facility it is?
Andy : Because the place is so close to 86 & 102, more often than not, they get there and stand the RFS down because they get there
Andy : Yes the facility is in RFS area, but due to the nature of the facility, FRNSW are required to respond
Christiaan Z : ok was listening to a live feed scanner lat night and p86, p102 got responded to afa but no rfs

Mike : the main stream was down the new stream was still working, all ok now

Jason : ‎4 FRNSW trucks are responding to reports of a fire at a Nursing home on Broughton Street at Rutherford - First truck onscene has confirmed there is a fire and multiple evacuations are underway.
