PMR patch same radio ID

Postby ajs007 » Mon Mar 08, 2010 1:50 am

Just wondering whats going. I was logging GRN data from sugarloaf and was getting a few different pumps&tanks from the same radio ID. Is it a PMR patch or something the ID was 63374

If it was RFS then you could be picking up the GRN link radio. All RFS in the Hunter area are on PMR with a Link radio on GRN for future radio netwoek upgrades

That ID looks like NSWFB... yes the PMR networks are patched to the GRN so they will all display the same ID. If you know the fire station number is in a PMR area then the ID must be the Centracom ID (Centracoms have their own ID) as the PMR IDs don't get rebroadcast (due to data noise filtering in the Centracoms).

Cheers,

Richard
