Update - May 03, 2009 by: Andrew This is just a quick update to let everybody know that the NSWFB and NSWRFS appliance pages have been updated with some new photographs from my gallery. Here is a quick rundown: NSWFB Appliances Page: Pumper, Rescue, Class 3 Pumper, Ladder Platform, Rescue Pump, Aerial Pump, Heavy Hazmat, SEV, Support Vehicle and the Duty Commander. NSWRFS Appliances Page: Two photos on top of the page. Central West Live Steam Notification by: Luke Just to let everyone know the central west stream will be down for a few months. The reason been the removal of my external aerials and fixed mobile units inside my current living arrangements. Another person needed the room more than my radios. But that is life. It should be all up and going in a few months as a full time 24/7 stream. Sorry for any inconvenience and any questions please email them to myself at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Hi allI thought it was ab out time for an update, so here it is. As with the last update the Site continues to grow. Site stats show a increase in activity and site hits. It is great to see the members adding so much great content, remember at the end of the day only you can make this site a success.News Information Ideas We try to add a news update item like this about once every month, so if you have anything you would like to have added just drop Andrew or I an email. Web links I am looking for a lot more web links, I know that the must be some great ones out there, so why not share them around, Just log in and select ‘Submit a Web Link’ on the User Menu. Donate via paypalAfter being asked by several people about how they could donate to help with the site and stream running costs, I have added a paypal donate button, even a dollar helps. Please do not fell obligated to donate; I just added it for those who do wish to. Guest BookThe guestbook I have added is a bit of a flop, would you believe that I am the only one to add a comment, go figure. Anyway I will be monitoring this in the coming month to see if this section is worth keeping on the site, ideas anyone?ChatThe Chat section seems to be working from the feedback I have been receiving, if anyone is having any problems with it just drop me an email and someone will have a look at it for you. Please remember that you need to be a member to access. Also it is still a Beta test component. MembershipInvitation to our guestsHi to all our guests, just to let you know that membership on this site is very easy to do and allows you to access lots of extra parts of the site. There is no cost associated with joining the site, as membership was only added as a means to control SPAM. So come on, join up and have a chat with people who have similar interests.RemindersForums and shout box incidentsIt is great to see that the incident category is getting used from time to time, there are a loot of people out there that can hear what is going on, but may not fully understand what is being said, so using this forum and the shout box updates helps everyone learn what is really going on, so keep up the good work all.Sydneyfire Web AddressPlease remember that the new URL for the Sydney Fire Website is now www.sydneyfire.net.au , but the old URL’s www.sydneyfire.org and sfscan.com will continue to redirect to the website address for 1 more month Thanks all for your support Mike & Andrew This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
