Hi all

Time for a Sydney fire site update.

Google Ads

Google has decided that the Sydney fire web site posed a significant risk to AdWords advertisers, after a lot of emails they have rejected the appeal to have the account reopened. This means that the small (and I mean small) financial assistance to run this site has gone. They to this day still have not informed me of why the Sydney fire website posed a significant risk. There is no way to communicate directly with anyone, just a standard appeal form and no answers.

Web links

The Sydney fire web links section is now fixed and accepting submissions from all registered users, I was unaware that the site structure originally only allowed access for authors and above, this has now been rectified, so I am again looking for a lot more web links, I know that the must be some great ones out there, so lets build the Sydney fire web links into a great resource, Just log in and select ‘Submit a Web Link’ on the User Menu. If you have any problems just email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Donate via paypal

Last month I added this link after being requested to do so. I had hoped that eventually that the Google ads would help with the site running cost; however this is now not going to be possible. If you really like the site and can spare even a dollar, every little bit helps. As before please do not fell obligated to donate.

Guest Book

The Sydney fire guestbook is gone, due to it not being used.

 Live Stream

For some reason this Week, the Sydney Fire Live Stream page embedded stream player disappeared without a trace. We where unable to locate where it was hiding and have decided to temporarily stop looking for it. I have added a new embedded player in a slightly different position to make up for the missing player, the mystery continues.

Reminders

Forums

Could all please remember not to use “/ “ or “\” in there forum topic headings as this will stop that post from being displayed on selection. Sydney fire Forum post topic heading should only include letters and numbers.

thanks

Mike
