Well what a day, and what a week. The bushfire season is now officially here and the new sydneyfire.org website has added many new features. The Fire stream has had a true workout and seems to handle the load well. The gallery has finally been added and is now ready to accept photo uploads from any registered user. Please keep in mind that all ages can view this photos so keep them appropriate, and please make sure up have the rights to upload your photos. Also new is the Geographical information section, this is a work in progress, with much of the credit going to Andrew, At this point I would like to thank the efforts of Andrew, Luke and Richard for there help in getting the information on this site up to date and looking good. Thanks for everyone making this site a success, and keep the ideas for inclusions coming. Mike

greg : sydney comms having major problems justafter 6am 28 and 14 couldntget through only to be told by someone ,i am unsure who that they were going to back up power and any messages should be rung through on a number put out over the radio. Dont know if itwas an appliance delivering the message . Has gone completly quite since then
